Todos Somos Diferentes es un Concurso Internacional de Cortometrajes que nace el año 2015 con la finalidad de promover la inclusión de Personas en Situación de Discapacidad (Capacidades diferentes, diversidad funcional) a través de la utilización de medios audiovisuales.
Desde la ciudad de Antofagasta, en la Zona Norte de Chile, hemos desarrollado diversas actividades que dan vida a este concurso, como muestras, talleres, actividades formativas, artísticas y exhibiciones de películas, siempre apuntando a la accesibilidad de Personas en Situación de Discapacidad, ya que el arte y la cultura son también un Derecho Humano que debemos proteger y valorar.
En esta sexta versión, debido a la situación que se vive a nivel planetario, nos alineamos con las recomendaciones sanitarias, por lo que todas las actividades serán -como siempre- gratuitas, pero además, se realizarán de manera virtual y abiertas a la comunidad.

Promover la igualdad de oportunidades, inclusión social, participación y accesibilidad de las Personas con Discapacidad.
Potenciar e incentivar la participación de las organizaciones de y para personas con discapacidad en el crecimiento y desarrollo de la cultura y las artes inclusivas.
Retratar, difundir y desarrollar el concepto de la Inclusión de la Discapacidad de forma positiva, aportando nuevas miradas a través del cine.
Podrán participar las obras realizadas (ficción, documental, animación, experimental) en los años 2018, 2019 y 2020.
La duración de los cortometrajes debe ser de entre 1 a 10 minutos.
La temática del cortometraje debe ser sobre la promoción de valores positivos. Podrán tratar aspectos como: Protección y seguridad social, salud y servicios sanitarios, educación, empleo, vivienda, transporte, incluyendo la cultura, el ocio y el deporte, entre otros.
Los cortometrajes podrán estar filmados con cualquier tipo de cámara (vídeo, fotográfica, teléfono móvil, tablet, etc).
Podrán participar máximo con dos obras por persona u organización.
No podrán incluir material protegido con copyright u otros derechos de propiedad intelectual.
Recuerda que deberán tener el consentimiento expreso de todas aquellas personas que aparezcan en el cortometraje. Si son personas menores de 18 años deberán tener el consentimiento de los padres del menor o su tutor legal.
Los postulantes a la preselección de la presente convocatoria deberán registrar su obra en la Ficha de Inscripción online a través de la página web (www.diferentes.cl) o a través de la plataforma Festhome, hasta el 20 de junio, a las 23:59 horas de Chile. (Se extiende la convocatoria hasta el día 03 de julio a las 23:59 horas de Chile)
Todas las obras postulantes pasarán a un proceso de preselección realizado por un jurado compuesto por personalidades del medio audiovisual nacional e internacional.
Se publicarán en el sitio web los cortometrajes seleccionados, los cuales estarán online para la votación del público hasta el día 28 de junio (Se extiende la votación a público del 6 al 10 de julio).
La inscripción es gratuita.
*Los cortometrajes deben ser subidos a una de las plataformas Vimeo o Youtube (privado, con contraseña).
Mejor Cortometraje Internacional: $500.000.
Mejor Cortometraje Nacional: $500.000.
Mejor Cortometraje Organizaciones de y para personas con discapacidad e Instituciones educacionales: .$300.000.
Premio del público (votación on line): $300.000.

La premiación y exhibición de todos los trabajos seleccionados se realizará en la clausura el día 14 de julio de 2020, a las 20:00 horas, en la ciudad de Antofagasta, Chile.
Al inscribir su obra en este concurso, los realizadores autorizan el uso de extractos de los cortometrajes seleccionados en televisión o en cualquier otro circuito con la única finalidad de promover el evento.
Los trabajos participantes podrán ser utilizados por el concurso con finalidades socio-educativas.
Con el envío de la Ficha de Inscripción, con todos los datos solicitados, quien suscriba responsablemente la participación de la obra, representando a sus realizadores, estará aceptando participar en el concurso en las condiciones establecidas en estas BASES.

Promote the equality of opportunities, social incorporation, participation and accessibility to people with disabilities and strengthen their autonomy.
Promote and encourage the participation of organizations of and for people with disabilities in the growth and development of culture and inclusive arts.
Portray, spread and develop the concept of inclusion of disabilities in a positive way, adding new perspectives to the topic through the movie industry.
Projects (fiction, documentary, animation, experimentation) will be able to participate if created within the years of 2018, 2019 and 2020. The maximum length of the short film must be 10 minutes.
The theme of the short film will focus on the promotion of positive values and the inclusion of people in the situation of disabilities. The short film can address the following points : Protection and the social safety, health and sanitary facilities, education, employment, housing, transportation, including the culture, leisure and sports, among others.
The short films can be filmed with any technological device (video, camera, phone, tablet).
They may participate maximum with two works per person or organization.
They will not be allowed to include material protected with copyright or other rights of intellectual property.
Remember that you must have the explicit consent of every person that appears in the short film. If they’re 18 or younger you must have the consent of the parents or guardian of the minor.
The applicants to the pre-selection of the present summon are required to register their project in the Enrollment Form online through the website (www.diferentes.cl) or through Festhome applicants have until June 20 at 23:59 pm. Chile to submit their projects. (The call is extended until July 3 at 11:59 p.m.)
Every project will go through a process of pre-selection realized by a jury composed of national and international figures of the audiovisual media.
The selected short films will be published, which will be available online to public voting until June 28. (New date: between July 6 and 10).
The short films must be submitted to Vimeo or Youtube with a code (private).
Best International Short Film: $500.000.
Best National Short Film: $500.000.
Best Short Film Organizations of and for people with disabilities and Educational Institutions: $300.000.
Audience award (online voting): $300.000.

The award and exhibition of all selected projects will be held on July 14, 2020, 20:00 PM in the city of Antofagasta, Chile.
By submitting your project into this contest, the filmmakers authorize the use of excerpts of the selected short films to be exhibited in the media or any other circuit with the sole purpose of promoting the event.
The works submitted to the contest may be used for the contest for socio-educational purposes.
Also, the selected projects will remain in the website for the difusion of the contest.
With the submission of the Enrollment form, with all the required information, one who responsibly submits the application for a project, representing the directors, is accepting and acknowledging their participation in the contest with the conditions established in this TERMS.
